Sr. Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for creating in-depth data analysis for OPSWAT, maintaining its key performance indicators, and other data trend analysis as requested.    

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide integral support for the annual planning process
  • Perform financial and data analysis to understand changes in trends in the organization and potential for improvement while reconciling issues and/or discrepancies by comparing and correcting data
  • Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior management with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the organization’s businesses
  • Perform deep-dive reviews of Operating expenses, COGS and CapEx to identify risks and opportunities
  • Review and/or create Capital Expenditures proposals and make recommendations regarding the commitment of capital
  • Collaborate with HR on headcount forecasting and reconciliations
  • Assist with executive presentations, including the preparation of the board materials
  • Perform ad-hoc requests and projects to support operational and strategic business decisions as needed

What We Need From You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, Master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5-7 yrs in similar role as a Financial Analyst or Sr. Financial Analyst
  • Able to communicate financial results to business owners
  • Able to work with all levels of the organization
  • Detail oriented with the ability to identify anomalies in data
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Experience with PowerBI and Data Visualization

It Would Be Nice If You Had:

  • Experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or similar product, and Salesforce preferred
  • Experience in SaaS company preferred
  • CPA or CFA candidate preferred
