The Position:

This position will be a customer facing position working with high-scale cybersecurity designs and managed security solutions. The Cybersecurity Engineer has the responsibility of managing of all solutions within the OPSWAT product portfolio as well as analyzing and containing security events. The successful candidate will work with other support and development team members as well as end users to best support solutions under the managed security program. This position is an integral part in expanding our Managed security service business.

What You Will Be Doing: 

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts from automated logging and monitoring tools.
  • Report on incident response metrics and provide assessment reports.
  • Support daily administration of managed security solutions for customer environments.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support response efforts to security-related findings or concerns.
  • Report on incident response metrics and provide assessment report.
  • Create and document application flows.
  • Perform and/or coordinate Cybersecurity assessments.
  • Provide customer consulting for cybersecurity.
  • Participate in technology workshops with vendors and customers.
  • Assist in the program development for managed Cybersecurity services.

What We Need from You: 

  • Expert knowledge of Network security technologies such as NAC, NGFW, and secure remote access.
  • Direct experience with SIEM systems such as SPLUNK and QRadar.
  • of for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid data center infrastructure.
  • Direct experience of cybersecurity technology infrastructure design, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Purdue model.
  • Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages including PowerShell, Python, and PHP.
  • Intermediate knowledge of virtual compute environments.
  • Familiarity with SSO/IAM solution such as OKTA and Citrix workspace.
  • conduct research on emerging technologies.
  • Must be able to work in a strong team environment to support the design, development, testing, documentation, and support of customer projects.
  • Must be able to work in a strong team environment to support the detection of malicious threats in the system and take mitigating actions to isolate, contain, and minimize damage.
  • Must possess the ability to facilitate forensics analysis to determine the source of cybersecurity threats. 
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10%.
  • At least two years or more of applied experience in Cybersecurity enterprise and service-oriented architectures.

It Would Be Nice If You Had: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or Cyber Forensics
  • Software as a service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) technology  
  • Experience in Security Operations
  • Disaster recovery solutions: backup/recovery, mirroring, active/standby, and active/active
